*We strongly encourage candidates to apply Early Action (November 15 application date) for full consideration for the following programs: diagnostic medical sonography, entry-level master’s physician assistant, physical therapy, radiologic sciences and traditional nursing.

**The admissions committee will make every effort to have a decision to applicants within two weeks from the time an application is complete. Priority is given to those applying by February 1. Choose the Application Plan That Works for You

We offer both non-binding and binding application processes, designed to make it clear when to submit your application and when you can expect to hear back from us about our admission decision.

Early Action and Regular Decision

We offer two application deadlines: November 15 for Early Action and February 1 for Regular Decision. These application plans are non-binding. Students admitted through these options have until May 1 to make their enrollment deposit.
Early Decision

If you know Quinnipiac is your top choice, we encourage you to apply Early Decision. The application process is completed in the fall of your senior year of high school. If you’re accepted, you’ll have peace of mind of knowing early where you will attend college.

Applications are due November 1, and students admitted through Early Decision have until February 1 to make their enrollment deposit. Admission through the Early Decision plan is binding and students interested in any major may apply Early Decision. If, however, you are not offered admission for your first choice of major, the Early Decision will not be binding.

Early Action and Regular Decision Key Dates

Encouraged for entry-level master’s physician assistant, physical therapy, and traditional nursing programs
Regular Decision: February 1

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is scheduled to open on or around December 1. Applicants are encouraged to file the FAFSA to apply for financial aid as early as possible. Learn more about the FAFSA

We do not require a separate application or form to be considered for academic scholarships. The Admissions Office reviews all admitted students for scholarship qualifications and notifies students in their letters of acceptance of any need-based federal or Quinnipiac grants, eligibility for work-study, and the Federal Direct Stafford Loan program.

Check Your Status

You can check the status of your application, receipt of documents and the notification of our admission decision using our secure online system.

Check Your Application Status

Within 48 hours of submitting your application, you will receive an acknowledgement email that will contain instructions on how to access your status information and a temporary PIN. Please enter this number as your password. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be prompted to create your own password. If you don’t receive your temporary PIN, please click the “forgot password” link.

We will issue decision notifications according to the following schedule:

Mid-November: Early Decision applicants (applications due November 1)
Early December: Early Action applicants (applications due November 15)
Beginning mid-December*: Regular Decision applicants (applications due February 1)
