The demand for compassionate and skilled healthcare providers, specialists and researchers continues to increase with medical advancements that promote longer, healthier lives. New jobs are created each day as healthcare options evolve from traditional treatment-based reactions to personal preventative care. The future of medicine will include treatments and therapy that will be more precise, less costly and easily accessible. Our health and medicine programs will provide you with the skills and knowledge to find success as a compassionate healthcare provider through an emphasis on translational research and holistic, evidence-based practices.
From patient care to rehabilitation to medical imaging and research, our programs are based on a holistic approach to healthcare. With programs offered at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree levels, including several dual-degree options, you’ll graduate with the skills necessary to help improve treatment options and enhance patient care. You will work alongside an integrated team of faculty experts in state-of-the-art facilities at one of the few universities in the country to boast a school of health sciences on one campus with its medical and nursing schools.
This integrated approach helps develop collaborative and forward-thinking clinicians, imaging professionals, rehabilitation specialists, nurses, doctors and scientists in areas such as behavioral neuroscience, cardiovascular perfusion, immunology, pathology, biomedical science and more. With a scientific foundation and emphasis on clinical reasoning, ethical training, and hands-on learning, you can help shape the future of patient-centered care and join the next generation of healthcare professionals and scientists.
We have identified specific areas of excellence where our students interact with researchers and professionals at the leading edges of their disciplines.
