Facilitator: Michael Miller Workshop Description: Are you sometimes reticent to speak your mind? Do difficult interpersonal situations leave you thinking, “I should have said something?” In this session, we will discuss assertiveness as the most positive and functional alternative to a host of communication behaviors. In addition, we’ll examine how to communicate our needs and opinions in ways that engage others and remove defensiveness. What’s unique about this discussion? We’re going to explore being direct communication in a manner that puts care and concern for others up front.
