Lecture from Mohegan Tribal Council of Elders Chairwoman: Beth Regan

ISU would like to welcome Mohegan Tribal Council of Elders Chairwoman, Beth Regan to come speak on campus. We have asked Beth to come the week before the university's Thanksgiving holiday break to speak on the topics of what Thanksgiving looks like in the Native population and what is means to them. We feel as though welcoming someone who has made such an impact on a local tribe and someone who is very active in their tribe is important in making an impact on students. We also feel as though welcoming Beth at this time is very beneficial as it will send students home on their break thinking about the history of Thanksgiving.
