Dr. Brown joined Quinnipiac in January 2024 as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy. She received her Bachelor's and Master of Science degrees in Physical Therapy from Boston University. She earned her transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University and is currently completing coursework for a Doctorate in Education from Abilene Christian University in Texas.
Dr. Brown is a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and a Certified Lymphedema Specialist. She has extensive clinical experience with orthopedic patients and has taught DPT students full-time since 2016. Dr. Brown currently teaches in the musculoskeletal curriculum, and her research interests include the effectiveness of learning strategies on student outcomes and the impact of institutional supports on student retention.
