Elyssa Wrubel is the Advising Specialist for the College of Arts & Sciences. With a student-centered approach, Ms. Wrubel guides first and second-year students who are Exploring CAS (undeclared in the College of Arts & Sciences) through major exploration and selection. Ms. Wrubel's passion for working with students is strengthened by her dedication to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and belonging. Ms. Wrubel is a member of several university-wide groups that address the needs of students and the student experience, such as the Academic Advising Council. She has also served as a Program Advisor for Bobcat Academy, a student success program designed to aid first-time first-year students in building community and strengthening their academic and professional skills.
Ms. Wrubel earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Quinnipiac University, with minors in psychology and women's and gender studies.
