Dr. Davis joined Quinnipiac University in 2013 as one of the founding faculty of the Frank H Netter School of Medicine. His teaching is focused upon the basic science curriculum of the first two years of the curriculum with an expertise in Medical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with an emphasis on Cellular Signaling and Molecular Carcinogenesis.
Dr. Davis' past research interest were focused upon the alterations to both cellular signaling pathways and transcriptional regulation in cancer. After completing his graduate work at UT at Austin and his postdoctoral fellowship at St Jude's Children's Research Hospital, he took his first faculty position at LSUHSC in Shreveport LA and teamed with his wife, Dr. Shari Meyers, to study the role of the RUNX family of transcription factors in carcinomas.
