Leonard A. Dwarica

Leonard A. Dwarica is currently the Distinguished Practitioner in Residence – Health Law, Director of the Center for Health Law and Policy, and Director of the Health Law Concentration at Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, CT. He teaches courses in Health Law, Food and Drug Law, Healthcare Antitrust, and Public Health Law. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Medical Sciences at the Frank Netter ,MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. He is admitted to the practice of law in New York and New Jersey, the United States Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey, the Eastern District of New York, and the Southern District of New York.

Before joining Quinnipiac, he was Senior Counsel at Bayer Corporation where he advised on matters related to the development, promotion, and regulation of prescription drugs and medical devices, and was also Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Technicon Instruments Corporation in Tarrytown, NY. He was an adjunct Professor of Law at Pace University. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association and is a former Chair of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.
