Lisa Rebeschi was appointed Associate Dean and Professor in the Quinnipiac University School of Nursing in May 2019. She was promoted to Senior Associate Dean in June 2023.
Her primary responsibilities include academic and administrative oversight on issues relating to academic programs, students, and faculty. She oversees faculty orientation and mentoring, development, and supports evaluation processes. As an integral member of the School of Nursing's leadership team, she supports the Dean in the preparation and implementation of strategic initiatives.
As Senior Associate Dean, she ensures alignment with accreditation and regulatory standards. Dr. Rebeschi previously served as the Chief Nurse Administrator and Professor at Southern Connecticut State University School of Nursing. Dr. Rebeschi serves as an accreditation site visitor for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), holds certification from the National League for Nursing as a certified nurse educator (CNE), and serves as Co-Chair of the Connecticut Center for Nursing Workforce. She has been recognized with the Leadership Award from the Connecticut League for Nursing, the Gordon Copeland Award for Extraordinary Volunteer Service by the American Red Cross of South Central Connecticut, and the Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing by the South Central Connecticut VNA.
Her research and scholarship interests include curriculum development and evaluation, competency-based education, use and impact of educational technology, patient safety, nursing care of children and families, and academic/clinical partnerships.
