Mary Phillips Ho, PhD is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Quinnipiac University. She received her MS and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California – Berkeley before working as an engineer in the pharmaceutical and biomedical device industry. She joined Quinnipiac to help establish and build the School of Engineering (now the School of Computing and Engineering).

She has taught a variety of undergraduate mechanical engineering courses, including MER 310 Fluid Mechanics, MER 320 Thermodynamics, MER 360 Heat Transfer, MER 491 Introduction to Biomedical Engineering, MER 220L Mechanics of Materials Lab, MER 330L Circuits Lab, and CSC 106 Introduction to Programming for Engineers.

She strives to support research initiatives for undergraduate mechanical engineering students where the students can take ownership of their project. Her research lab at Quinnipiac focuses on applying thermal and electrical technologies to biomedical applications.
