Michael Vieth
Senior Instructor of Biology
Michael Vieth is a Senior Instructor in the Department of Biology. He primarily teaches Introductory Biology for majors (Bio150/151) and Introductory Biology for Health Science majors (Bio101/102), while dabbling in Ecological and Biological Diversity labs (Bio152) and Explorations in Biology (Bio385).
Professor Vieth is the course coordinator for the Introductory lecture (Bio101/102) for Health Science majors. He serves on the Academic Integrity Board, as well as acting as a Coordinator of Academic Integrity Initiatives. He has advised graduate pre-health students, and currently is the faculty advisor the Pre-Health Professions Student Society, American Medical Student Association, Pre-Dental Society, and the Rock Climbing Club. He serves as a faculty mentor for the QUADS (QU Advancing Diversity in Science) program.
