Part-Time Faculty

Since joining Quinnipiac University in 2014 Rick has collaborated with CAS leadership and faculty to develop and implement a unique faculty-driven “360 degree” advising program incorporating academic advising, experiential and work-integrated learning, and career development. Prior to joining Quinnipiac, he spent 9 years as the Director of Career Placement at Sacred Heart University (Fairfield, CT).

Rick currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of University Career Center Communication Professionals (AU3CP) and the Connecticut Career Consortium (CCC). He served as the founding president of the CCC from 2018-2020. He also served as the President of the Connecticut Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CCEIA) from 2016-2018 and served on that group's executive board since 2014. He's presented at national and regional conferences including the CEIA conference in Atlanta (2015) and in Dallas (2016). He has also served on national NACE Task Forces regarding Leadership for the Future (2019-2020) and the “Future of We” (2018-2019).

Prior to transitioning to a career in higher education, Rick spent 10 years in various marketing, operations, and management roles. He is a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) and holds a B.A. in History from the University of Notre Dame.
