Sheree Piperidis is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies where her primary role is that of clinical coordinator and co-chair of admissions. She instrtucts a variety of courses in both the didactic and clinical year with a specific focus in medical writing, physical diagnosis, simulation, and professionalism.

She has a passion for medical writing and has published a book chapter, has been published in the Journal of American Academy of Physician Assistants (JAAPA), writes annually, and presents with her students at physician assistant (PA) state and national conferences to promote publications and professional leadership.

She has a passion for service and sits on many committees at the university, school of health science, department, and professional level. She is a faculty liason for the ACES literacy program and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cycle for Survival event where the focus of her time is spent with the students supporting the efforts of these two programs. She has held leadership roles as the chair of membership for the Connecticut Academy of Physician Assistants (ConnAPA) and has been on the board and on the conference planning committee for more than 6 years. She organizes the student poster presentation session at CONNAPA each year at the annual conference.

Her awards include an induction into the North Branford Basketball Hall of Fame, ConnAPA initiative award, the Physician Assistant honor society Pi Alpha Award, was recognized by Quinnipiac Univesrity for over 10 years of service, and the QUPA Distinuished Alumni Award.

She coaches her sons in basketball and is an avid soccer and lacross fan to her children.
