Tracy Wall, PT, PhD, is a Clinical Professor and Program Director. Her academic preparation includes the following degrees: BS in PT (Quinnipiac College), MS in PT (Quinnipiac University), and PhD in PT (Nova Southeastern University). She is currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of CT (license #).
Her teaching courses are rooted in the development and delivery of problem-based learning activities and education theories to assist students in continuing to refine and employ their cognitive framework for Physical Therapy practice in mutliple areas of practice and settings. Dr Wall maintains clinical expertise through continuing education and research. She attends national conferences such as ELC CSM, and Clinical Reasoning Symposiums. She has completed multiple educational modules related to the most current management of the neurological client. Dr Wall as 29 years of clinical experience in both general care and management of clients with neuromuscular disorders throughout multiple levels of the continuum of care. Dr. Wall is actively engaged in scholarship. Her areas of focus include teaching and learning as it related to the development of metacognitive awareness, assessment and competence based education in physical therapy students which directly relates to her areas of teaching.
