Tour guide leading students on campus

As Quinnipiac prepares to have prospective students tour their campus there are some must-see locations that your future Bobcat won't want to miss!

Walk the Quad

Enjoy walking around the hub of student activity. Here you will find students, professors, and Boomer walking the green. Whether or not you want to grab a bite at Café Q, study at the library, or hang out with friends. You can enjoy the quad with friends any time of the year.

Eat at On The Rocks Pub

Check out On the Rocks Pub for delicious bar bites and an entertaining atmosphere. The pub is a place for celebration between friends and family. There is always an event going on whether it is a laugh-out-loud comedian or a groovy live band.

Hike the Sleeping Giant

Take a leisurely stroll or venture along the extensive two-mile stretch of mountaintops at the Sleeping Giant State Park right across Mount Carmel Avenue from the Mount Carmel Campus. The mountain offers a wide range of trails from beginner to expert. Take in the scenic park with friends, family or yourself.

Relax in the Arnold Bernard Library

Located in the heart of the Mount Carmel Campus, Arnold Bernard Library is a great place to study with both undergraduate and graduate students. The library hosts electronic resources including 153 databases and 117,000 journals – with your laptop or use one of Quinnipiac’s 60 public computers. You can find students studying in a silent study room, a comfortable chair overlooking the scenic mountain or even in a private study cubby.

Explore the Recreation and Wellness Center

Head over to the Recreation and Wellness Center located on Mount Carmel’s Campus. Remodeled in 2021, the wellness center is the pinacol for student health. The RecWell is a fully equipped gym with a rock-climbing wall, health services, sports health and a smoothie bar. There are a variety of fitness classes such as yoga, Pilates, Zumba and spin. After a workout, students can take a seat in the Zen Garden, enjoying a well-deserved smoothie bowl from Shake Smart.

Visit the home of the national champions at M&T Bank Arena

At York Hill’s Campus, M&T Bank Arena hosts the home of the Men and Women’s Hockey team. Stop by to see where future NHL players skate and check all of Quinnipiac’s National Championship wins!  Students gather in the arena on big game days with friends to watch Quinnipiac’s rivals, including Yale. Students can get their tickets in the student portal for free and use their campus card to buy snacks and drinks at games.

Tour a first-year residence hall

Check out a first-year dorm on the Mount Carmel Campus with a tour guide and see where you may live throughout your time as a first year. From suite-style living or quads to a classic double room, Quinnipiac offers a variety of residence halls that you may get assigned by the Office of Residential Life.

Take a shuttle ride to Quinnipiac’s North Haven Campus

Prospective students who are seeking a profession in health or law will find this campus to become their home away from home. There are many learning opportunities that each program offers such as an interactive health lab and a prestigious ceremonial courtroom to implement a hands-on learning environment.
