As director, Analoui will focus on several key priorities, including expanding Quinnipiac’s innovation ecosystem through external collaborations with corporations, small businesses and community organizations.
He also will work to enhance hands-on workshops that promote multidisciplinary collaboration, develop programs designed to support faculty members in pursuing innovative ideas and aiding student entrepreneurs, and growing the network of mentors and executives to guide Quinnipiac innovators and entrepreneurs from concept to product.
“Dr. Analoui's leadership will build on the center’s past successes and drive its mission to address societal challenges and create scalable business opportunities through innovative ideas and ventures,” Dean Raider said.
Analoui said, “I am honored to take on the role of director of the M&T Bank Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I have been inspired by the creativity and drive of our students, faculty and staff at Quinnipiac University. I look forward to building on this momentum and expanding our innovation ecosystem through new collaborations and programs. Together, we will continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible and create impactful solutions to real-world challenges.”
Analoui, who holds the Carlton Highsmith Endowed Chair of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and serves as a teaching professor of entrepreneurship and strategy, joined Quinnipiac in September 2023 following an international search.
In his first year, Analoui has been instrumental in accelerating the early-stage development of a healthcare innovation lab, integrating innovative curriculum into the classroom and establishing pathways to enhance Quinnipiac’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
"Dr. Analoui has already made significant strides in his short time at Quinnipiac, and we are excited to see him take on this new leadership role," Dean Raider said. "Under his guidance, the M&T Bank Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will continue to advance its mission of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among our students, faculty and staff."
M&T Bank Regional President Frank Micalizzi expressed his confidence in the new appointment, stating “Dr. Analoui’s deep experience and extensive academic background make him the perfect candidate to lead the M&T Bank Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, ensuring that Quinnipiac students will continue to become the leaders of tomorrow. Under Dr. Analoui’s leadership, the center’s future is very bright.”
A $500 FAFSA Incentive Grant will be applied to the financial aid offer of admitted first-year students who complete the FAFSA by January 15, 2025.
