The soccer and lacrosse complex seats 1,500 fans and uses an infill turf playing surface while the field hockey complex features seating for 500 people as well as an artificial turf field and an irrigation system.

"We are grateful for the commitment that President John L. Lahey has made to Quinnipiac Athletics as we strive to be one of the top athletic departments in the country," Director of Athletics and Recreation Greg Amodio said. "These new fields will provide our varsity teams and student-athletes with premier facilities that rival those of our peer institutions."

Both venues host home and visitor locker rooms, team rooms, training and equipment rooms, first-aid stations, restrooms for spectators as well as broadcast-ready press boxes and seating for professional and student media.

"The two venues work in tandem to create a unified athletic complex that also safeguards the adjacent wetlands," said Centerbrook Partner Jeff Riley, FAIA. "Abundant plantings and low- profile structures will merge harmoniously with the wooded setting."

This new athletic complex joins the celebrated TD Bank Sports Center, now in its 11th season, as the home of the nationally ranked men's and women's ice hockey programs as well as the men's and nationally ranked women's basketball teams.
