Making connections through global commerce
Professor Emerita Xiaohong He knows that doing business internationally involves more than just turning a profit. It is a collaborative endeavor inviting business professionals from emerging countries and long-standing economic powers alike to contribute to and benefit from greater global prosperity.
For her work helping to strengthen the ideals of globalism, she received the Academy for Global Business Advancement (AGBA) Fellow Award.
“We are bridges between the East and West, the North and South, the rich and poor, and across isms, ideologies and religions,” said He during the AGBA’s 15th World Congress in Bengkulu, Thailand.
The AGBA brings together professionals in business administration, economics, entrepreneurship, information technology, tourism and hospitality from more than 50 countries. The organization helps scholars at business schools across emerging nations to connect with the west and share new knowledge and ideas for the betterment of global business education worldwide.
