In the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program, you’ll develop the necessary skills to provide high-quality, cost-effective primary care across the lifespan from adolescence through geriatrics in outpatient clinics, medical offices and skilled nursing facilities.

Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioners specialize in providing advanced nursing care to adult patients in a wide variety of settings. Focused on holistic health and wellness and treating the entire patient, these providers are critical to the care and medical well-being of adolescents, adults and the rapidly aging population.
This flexible program allows students to complete almost all of their coursework online outside of three one-week immersions that must be completed on campus. The program can be completed either full-time or part-time and prepares graduates to sit for a national certification exam.
Within two years of completing the MSN, students may seamlessly transition into the Doctor of Nursing Practice program without losing credits or duplicating coursework.
