Emergency Preparedness
Current Status: No emergency at this time
Emergency preparedness is a priority at Quinnipiac. Members of our emergency team are available to respond around the clock, 365 days a year. Additionally, all of our employees receive training on how to respond in emergency situations, particularly in the instance of an active shooter/intruder.
In the event of an emergency or crisis, a campus alert will be issued, with communications broadcast via the website, our text alert system, and social media channels.

Quinnipiac University EMS
Quinnipiac University EMS is a student-run volunteer supplemental first responder agency. They formally began operations in the fall of 2019, providing EMS coverage for the Mount Carmel and York Hill campuses. In addition to responding to medical emergencies, QU EMS members volunteer their time providing CPR and Stop The Bleed classes for the Quinnipiac community.
Aside from being an excellent opportunity for students to gain experience in healthcare, QU EMS is also a great opportunity for students to gain both leadership and teaching experience. During your time as a member, you will have the opportunity to rise up the ranks and fulfill various leadership roles.
