In cases where there is a crisis or event that threatens the safety or well-being of any facet of the university, a campus alert will be issued, with communications broadcast via the website, our text alert system, and social media channels.

Report an Emergency

For life-threatening emergencies, call 911

Be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Your name
  • Nature of the incident
  • Location of the incident
  • Injuries, if any
  • Phone number for a call back

In the event of a medical emergency, security officers trained in CPR, AED and first aid will respond. 

The Hamden Fire/Rescue and AMR ambulance also will be dispatched.
